Proven ROI
ELT ROI Case Study
Prior to training with ELT courses, a client averaged 110 employment-related claims annually between 1995 and 1998. In 1998, the client implemented ELT’s ongoing training program. After the training, the client independently commissioned a study to determine the ROI of the training program.
After the program's introduction, the client experienced a 42% reduction in the number of claims per year – from their previous average of 110 to 64. Excluding settlement and award costs, the client calculated a hard cost savings of $2.2 million dollars per year.
The complete savings and return on investment are calculated below:
- Note: Apx. 25% of claims go to trial.
- Dfference of 28 (25% of 110) and 16 (25% of 64) = 12 claims avoided going to trial.

I’m looking forward to this new phase of working even more closely with ELT to get thousands of King County employees trained on workplace harassment, and looking even more forward to the reductions of harassment claims and lawsuits in the near future.
